Left-turn arrow coming to York and Regester

Eastbound Regester

The state and Baltimore County have approved left-turn arrows for both eastbound and westbound traffic going from Regester Avenue onto northbound and southbound York Road, Councilman David Marks said Friday.

The surrounding neighborhoods had asked for the signals. Eastbound traffic on Regester in Rodgers Forge has become increasingly heavy because of the new Starbucks at the corner, whose parking lot empties onto Regester.

Westbound Regester

Parking meters on the north side of Regester have been removed and the lanes painted, but the signals have not yet been installed. An installation date has not been given.
