Towson is getting another locally owned restaurant: The Point in Towson opens Wednesday, Oct. 25, with a launch party beginning at 6:30 PM.

The spot at 523 York Road, which was formerly The Crease, is a sister restaurant to The Point in Fells.
Owner Erica Russo said the Towson location will have a different menu than the Fells Point restaurant, although there will be some overlapping items, such as the Maryland Crab Cake Benedict and Chicken-n-Waffles. The overall menu theme, she said, is “American comfort food with a twist.”
There is also a full bar.

“Towson is such a great area, and it’s revitalizing daily,” said Russo, who is from the Dulaney Valley Road area. “It’s a great feeling to know that time and money is being spent revitalizing the place you grew up.”
