County sent erroneous property-tax bills

Baltimore County says “system-generated errors” were found in property-tax bills that went to homeowners recently.

People should disregard the bills and wait for new bills to arrive, according to Keith Dorsey, the county’s director of Budget and Finance. That should take about a month, he said.

Discounts for prompt payment will also be extended, Dorsey said. To see the county’s full statement, click here.
