Ukazoo’s new location
Ukazoo Books, which lost its lease in Dulaney Plaza last year, says it will open in its new location this Wednesday. The new store is on Loch Raven Boulevard just south of Joppa Road.
“I’m excited for this location, to be in this neighborhood. The walkability of the neighborhood is great and I expect some walk ins from the area,” said owner Edward F. Whitfill.
“I’m also glad to have road visibility, which we have not had before. Most of all I am grateful for the support that we see from our customers for Independent, local bookstores. It’s great to get back open,” he said.
The store has been open limited hours in recent weeks while it tested out its new software programs and got shelves stocked, but July 5 will be its first official day of business.
