There was a ceremonial groundbreaking for Radebaugh Park on Tuesday as work gets underway for the new green space in East Towson, just north of Towson High School.
The county purchased the land from the Radebaugh family, which owns Radebaugh Florist. The florist is staying open; the family sold excess land near its shop.
The $1.76 million park is expected to be completed in December.
“I am very proud of this project,” Councilman David Marks said in a statement. “It was a collaborative effort between political and community leaders, and will greatly enhance one of our most densely-populated regions in the Fifth District.”
Broken ground? Just another thing the County has to fix!
