Baltimore County Councilman David Marks and the Green Towson Alliance plan to host a Radebaugh park community forum to get input from the community about what they want to see at the park and learn about any concerns they might have.

Radebaugh Florist is not closing, but it has agreed to sell excess land it owns to the county so a park can be created. Earlier this month the county announced it had a final agreement to buy the property for $1.1 million, and that Open Space funds would be used for the purchase. Developers often pay Open Space fees in lieu of creating or preserving green space in their projects.

The input forum will be at 7pm on Monday, Dec. 5, at 1st Lutheran Church, 40 Burke Avenue in Towson. The public is invited and no RSVP is required. In the event of inclement weather that cancels or postpones Baltimore County Public Schools, the forum will be postponed.
