I have contacted the county about rat infestations several times with no remedy. Rats at my neighbors home due to their lack of yard cleanliness, come to my yard. I was told if I complain, I will be fined. How does that sound right? No one came to investigate because it not what you know, but who you know to keep the authorities off your back! Second, I called the county about cut tree branches at Johnnycake Elementary. I am grateful for the cut, but why did the employees leave the trees right at my back yard for my neighbors’s children to break off branches to throw in my yard and at my dog! When I called the school, because the county said it was a school problem, not only did no one clean up their mess, but they’ve mowed around the debris several times and outside my gate it still sits.

Baltimore county residents need trash can at a reduced rate or free in order to follow new guidelines . Why not offer free trash cans.

Excellent commentary! Such testing has not accomplished what it was set out to do, according to claims. And continual online testing of students — and the financial burden of requiring computers to do so in all schools — is more of an outside business model and industry than a true means to educating our students. Allow professional teachers to do what they do best: Teach.

Hens shouldn’t be allowed unless roosters are allowed as well. Otherwise, Baltimore county is going to find that their going to have an influx of roosters being abandoned and/or dumped at their animal shelters where they have nowhere to go since nobody in the surrounding area will be allowed to keep them. It is what is happening everywhere else in the country. Just look at Adopt a Bird Network, who helps these birds find homes – http://www.adoptabirdnetwork.com

Chicken coops are filthy and attract various scavengers, rodents, snakes, etc. I live in Rodger Forge. I can’t imagine allowing chickens in row house neighborhoods. I love chicken and eggs but not in my backyard.
