‘No more snow days’ seems like a joke, but beware the advent of Virtual School Days, an up-and-coming trend under the “blended learning” school model, on which BCPS’s STAT digital initiative is based. Some parents might like this, but kids won’t. No more sledding or curling up with a good book on wintry days off, when you could be required to sit in front of your school-issued laptop screen instead….
