On Bellona Avenue, just north of Graul’s Market in Ruxton

Sunday’s flash flood has made some road conditions hazardous. Two cars were submerged in water on Bellona Avenue in Ruxton, just north of Graul’s Market. The National Weather Service has issued a flash-flood warning that is in effect until 2AM Monday.

“Showers and thunderstorms capable of heavy rain are expected this afternoon and evening, and may lead to flash flooding. Localized rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected, the Weather Service said. “A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.”

Route 1 near White Marsh was also closed because of flooding.

And Ellicott City is underwater again.
