There have been a rash of burglaries of large homes along the Falls Road corridor from Towson to Owings Mills. Three are listed below (on Jan. 19) and you can read more about the burglaries here. Below are the latest crimes as reported by the Baltimore County Police 6th Precinct:
January 24: Attempted First Degree Burglary, 1300 Block of Kenton Road 21234
At 10:55 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) broke the glass and lock on a kitchen window in an attempt to gain entry into the victim’s residence. No property was taken.
January 23: Robbery, 8700 Block of Loch Bend Drive 21234
At 10:55 p.m., the victim was robbed at gunpoint at the Welcome Inn by two unknown suspects. The suspects stole cash from the cash drawer and from the victim and then fled.
January 22: Robbery, 500 Block of York Road 21204
At 11:55 a.m., a suspect walked into the Wells Fargo bank and displayed a note to the teller. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money and the suspect fled in a vehicle. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect shortly thereafter.
January 21: Second Degree Burglary, 1300 Block of Goucher Boulevard 21286
At 8:50 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) shattered the front door of the Jazzmine’s Salon & Spa to gain entry. The owner indicated several items were out of place, however, nothing appeared to be missing.
January 21: First Degree Assault, 7700 Block of Bellona Avenue 21204
At 6:50 a.m., the suspect approached the known victim and her friend and words were exchanged. The victims attempted to leave in their vehicle. The suspect followed them in his vehicle, struck the victim’s vehicle and tried to run them off the road.
January 20: First Degree Burglary, 6500 Block of Darnall Road 21204
At 9:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim’s garage through the open garage door. Power tools and sports equipment were stolen and the vehicle was ransacked. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
January 20: Robbery, 1400 Block of Dartmouth Avenue 21234
At 6:30 p.m., four juvenile victims attempted to purchase marijuana from three suspects and a known juvenile suspect. The suspects, one armed, robbed the four victims of cash, a cell phone, a scooter and a vaporizer.
January 19: Attempted First Degree Burglary, Unit Block of Ruxton Green Court 21204
At 6:24 p.m., an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into the victim’s residence through the front door by using his body to push the door in. No entry was made.
January 19: Attempted First Degree Burglary, Unit Block of Hillspoint Court 21093
Sometime between 5:30 and 6:44 p.m., an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s residence through the front door. Nothing was taken but the front door and door frame were damaged.
January 19: First Degree Burglary, 1800 Block of Circle Road 21204
Sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 9:25 p.m., an unknown suspect forced the front door open of the victim’s residence. No items were stolen.
January 19: First Degree Burglary, Unit Block of Witherwood Court 21204
Sometime between 2:30 and 8:30 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry into the victim’s residence through the unlocked front door. The victim’s cell phone and wallet were stolen.
January 18: Second Degree Burglary, 1400 Block of East Joppa Road 21286
Sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) pried open the victim’s shed and stole a bicycle.
January 18: First Degree Burglary, 1700 Block of Ryewood Road 21234
Sometime between 3 a.m. and 2:34 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence through the unlocked front door and stole a jug containing coins.
January 17: First Degree Burglary, 300 Block of Garden Road 21286
Sometime between 5 and 9:30 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) entered the victims’ apartment by unknown means and stole cash and gift cards.
