Ryan’s Daughter, the Irish pub at Belvedere Square, announced on its Facebook page that it’s closing later this month. No word yet on what might replace it.

Regretfully, after 14 wonderful years, filled with pleasant memories, Ryan’s Daughter will be closing its doors on Sunday, January 21st, 2018. We are more than grateful for the endless support you have given us over the years.
It has been a pleasure serving and getting to know each and every one of you. Throughout the years we’ve celebrated weddings and funerals, birthdays and anniversaries.
From day one, we wanted the pub to serve as a place where friends and neighbors would feel home, we feel that was accomplished.
We see it as a chance to start something else and we might see you sooner than you think in another location. We would like to thank all of our employees, past and present, who have made RD possible, and to all of you who have become friends and family to us. Thank you for your continuous support!

This is a nice area, with the Senator, Belvedere Square, and other attractions. I don’t understand why this and other eateries have closed.

They are closing because business has fallen off the proverbial cliff. The neighborhood is unsafe. Constant harassment from vagrants. Unsafe, unsafe, unsafe. Families will not go there anymore. Tuesday Morning left because their shrink was so high. Avoid the market at all costs.
The neighborhood is not unsafe. I go there all the time and have never been harassed or mugged. You sound like the idiot POTUS, repeating lies until you think people will believe them.
