Cars left running have been easy targets, police say

Hewlett-Packard

Baltimore County police are warning people that letting their cars warm up in the cold is a great way to have them stolen. They say that in the first week of February, 25 of the 38 cars stolen in the county were taken while running unattended.

Experts say that letting your car warm up is, contrary to popular belief, actually not good for the engine. Something about the pistons and compression.

If you’re warming up your car not because you think it’s good for it, but because you don’t want to freeze your you know what off, maybe think about a heated seat cushion like this.
