The recent storms have caused havoc in parts of Towson, including the Idlewylde, Stoneleigh, and Anneslie neighborhoods. BGE reports that about 450 homes in that area are without power.
“BGE work in Idlewylde will probably not be done until 2pm,” Councilman David Marks said on his Facebook page. “Verizon needs to repair its lines first, and the tree limbs needs to be cleared.”
People should take care to stay away from downed power lines, which can be fatal if touched.
