What would also help is change the order of the light on York Road so that the left turn arrow off York onto Regester would be first, not last. That and a right turn arrow for traffic turning right off Regester onto northbound York timed with the left turn arrow for traffic coming off York onto Regester would also help reduce congestion at that intersection.
