Carjacking, assault and robbery in downtown Towson, other area crimes

Here are the latest Towson-area crimes, as reported by Baltimore County Police’s 6th precinct:

July 10: Robbery, 1700 Block of Yakona Road 21234
At 11 p.m., while the employees were leaving Loch Raven Liquors for the night, an unknown suspect pointed a gun at the employees and demanded their property. The suspect along with two other suspects then fled on foot.

July 9: First Degree Burglary, Unit Block of Solar Circle 21234
At 11 a.m., two known suspects forced the door open to gain entry into the victim’s apartment. The suspects retrieved some of their belongings and also stole some of the victim’s property. The incident then continued into Baltimore City where Baltimore City Police intervened.

July 9: Robbery Carjacking, York Road and Allegheny Avenue 21204
At 1:05 a.m., the victim was sitting in her vehicle when she was approached by a suspect demanding that she exit her vehicle. The suspect then assaulted the victim and along with a second suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was later located and the two suspects were arrested.

July 7 to 8: Second Degree Burglary, 300 Block of Dumbarton Road 21212
Sometime between 10:26 a.m. on July 7 and 8 a.m. on July 8, an unknown suspect(s) broke into a shed at Dumbarton Middle School. The suspect(s) damaged and spray painted the shed.

July 5: First Degree Assault, Unit Block of Airway Circle 21286
At 9:50 p.m., two unknown, armed suspects entered the victims’ home, assaulted the victims and stole their cash and cell phones.

July 5 to 8: First Degree Burglary, 300 Block of West Wind Road 21204
Sometime between 2:15 p.m. on July 5 and 7 p.m. on July 8, an unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked side window and stole a television.

July 2: First Degree Burglary, Unit Block of Clybourne Court 21204
Sometime between 1:45 and 2:45 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) broke into the victims’ residence and stole clothing, electronic equipment, jewelry and miscellaneous items.

July 2: First Degree Burglary, 6600 Block of Loch Raven Boulevard 21234
Sometime between 1 and 6:30 p.m., a possibly known suspect used the victim’s keys to enter the victim’s brother’s apartment. Clothing, eyeglasses and several pairs of shoes were taken.

July 2 to 4: Second Degree Burglary, 1600 Block of Wentworth Avenue 21234
Sometime between 7 a.m. on July 2 and 5:45 p.m. on July 4, an unknown suspect(s) stole a bike from the victim’s shed.

June 29: First Degree Burglary, 6900 Block of Donachie Road 21239
At 8:10 p.m., two unknown suspects pried open the victim’s apartment door to gain entry. At this time it is unknown what items were taken from the apartment.

June 29: Robbery, 1200 Block of Putty Hill Avenue 21234
Sometime between 7:15 and 8:15 p.m., the suspect entered the Walmart and attempted to commit a fraud. When the cashier resisted, the suspect demanded money from the register drawer. Feeling threatened, the victim handed over the cash. The suspect was apprehended and the cash was recovered.

June 29 to July 9: Second Degree Burglary, 6000 Block of Stanton Avenue 21204
Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on June 29 and 12:15 a.m. on July 9, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim’s unlocked, detached garage. The suspect(s) stole three bicycles and rummaged through the victim’s vehicle.

June 29: Second Degree Burglary, 1800 Block of Taylor Avenue 21234
At 3:30 a.m., the suspect broke into Maria’s carryout by prying open the rear door. The suspect hid inside the location where he was later apprehended by police.

June 25: Robbery, East Joppa Road and Virginia Avenue 21204
At 1:14 a.m., a suspect assaulted the victim and stole her purse. The suspect fled, but was apprehended and the purse was recovered.

June 24: Robbery, 1300 Block of Taylor Avenue 21234
At 9:35 p.m., an armed suspect robbed the 7-Eleven of cash and then fled on foot.

June 24: First Degree Assault, 1800 Block of Aberdeen Road 21234
At 12:30 a.m., a juvenile victim was assaulted by a known suspect during an argument. This was late reported.

June 23: Robbery, 500 Block of Castle Drive 21212
At 10:15 p.m., a suspect approached the victim from behind, assaulted and stole cash from the victim. The suspect then fled.

June 23: Robbery, Overbrook and Sherwood roads 21212
At 7 p.m., the victim was assaulted by multiple suspects who forcibly took his backpack. Two juvenile suspects were found and arrested.

June 23: Robbery, 1700 Block of Yakona Road 21234
At 6:40 p.m., the victim was robbed by two armed suspects after he made a pizza delivery. The suspects were apprehended.

June 22: Robbery, 6000 Block of Falls Road 21212
At 1 a.m., a suspect entered the Royal Farms and stole several packs of cigars and cigarettes.

June 20: Robbery, 800 Block of Taylor Avenue 21286
At 10:10 p.m., two suspects entered the Liquor Mart. One suspect displayed a handgun and stole money from the cash registers, while the other suspect acted as a lookout. Both suspects then fled.
