The Towson Chamber of Commerce is holding the 51st Annual Towsontown Spring Festival on Saturday, May 5th, from 10 am-8 pm and on Sunday, May 6th, from 1 pm-6 pm.
The Festival will take place from York Road to Bosley Avenue, and from Susquehanna Avenue to Allegheny Avenue. It is expected that approximately 200,000 visitors will attend the two-day event with more than 300 vendors. Organizers say the festival will feature a great lineup of local gourmet food trucks as well as a diverse array of Mediterranean, Latin, Asian and American cuisine. The food selection ranges from “classic carnival foods to ethnic, gourmet delights, along with countless delectable sweets.”
Throughout the festival, vendors will be showcasing and selling art, jewelry, handmade products, and more. The Towsontown Spring Festival is family-friendly and includes a range of entertainment from live music to
dance performances to fitness classes.

The fun begins at the corner of Pennsylvania and Washington Avenue! Opening ceremonies will kick off the festival at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th. Local organizations including the Towson University Dance Team, Allure Dance Group, WERQ, Stoneleigh Steel Drum Band and more will be performing at the information stage.
Plaza Family Fun Area I & II- Carnival rides and games for all ages! Plaza Family Fun Area I is located next to
Hamilton Bank, which is off of Pennsylvania Avenue. Plaza Family Fun Area II is located at the corner of
Washington and Allegheny Avenue. Ride Tickets may be purchased at the festival.
Courthouse Beer Garden- A beer garden and live music will be offered at the Historic Old Courthouse, located off
of Washington Avenue. Live music includes performances from Rob Fahey, MZZ B & Company, Eclipse – a
Journey Tribute Band, Starcrush, and New Romance. Entry to the garden is free, however alcoholic beverages
will be available for purchase to those over the age of 21. Although there is only one beer garden this year due to
the construction on Patriot Plaza, food trucks, tables and chairs will be added to the Courthouse Gardens so that
visitors can kick back, relax, and enjoy some delicious grub and live entertainment in one central location.
Parking rates will be adjusted by the county, and all county lots surrounding the festival will charge only $5 per day. Bring family and friends along to celebrate the 51st year anniversary of the Towsontown Spring Festival and enjoy delicious food, unique vendors and endless entertainment!

Gardens Day
On Thursday, May 3rd, the Towson Chamber of Commerce will hold the 32nd Annual Gardens Day from 10am to 3pm in the heart of Towson. The event will take place in downtown Towson, Maryland surrounding the old courthouse on the following roads: Washington Avenue, Upper Pennsylvania Avenue, and Upper Baltimore
Avenue.
A variety of unique vendors will be located throughout the festival to serve to over 7,000 attendees. Visitors can shop for flowers, garden decor and more to help spruce up any landscape! Art, jewelry, handmade items and food trucks will also be present.
