Wawa celebrates Towson opening with free coffee for 10 days and more

4.9kviews

Wawa, a Pennsylvania-based convenience store and gas station, is offering free coffee and other specials for the next 10 days to celebrate their new location on Joppa Road in Towson.

“We are just so excited to be in Towson we want to offer this to everyone who comes in,” said area manager Renee Lust.

Through April 29, you can get a free self-serve hot beverage (coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc.) with no purchase required. They’re also having specials on hoagies, built-to-order salads, and fountain sodas.

If you’re curious about the name, their website says, “‘Wawa’ is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley over 100 years ago. Our original Dairy farm was built on land located in a rural section of Pennsylvania called Wawa. That’s why we use the goose on Wawa’s corporate logo.”

Wawa is located at 1300 E. Joppa Road, near Applebee’s and Glory Days Grill.

Wawa is the best! Whenever I see a Wawa, I know there’s still some hope and good in this world.
