Baltimore County Police say they have arrested two Rossville men in the double homicide in Towson last week.

On April 9, a maintenance worker went inside a 5th floor apartment in the unit block of Lambourne Road and found two dead men inside, Baltimore County Police said. They were later identified as Stanley B. Brunson, Jr., 29, of the 1500-block of E. Northern Parkway and Shameek Davone Joyner, 28, of the 5300-block of Leith Road.

Police say the two victims went to the apartment to meet with the two suspects after a resident of the apartment arranged a drug purchase. Police say they don’t know what precipitated the murders, but both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Brunson also suffered additional traumatic injuries to his upper body.

Police obtained warrants for the two suspects on Sunday, April 15, and located them yesterday afternoon. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle they were known to be traveling in on southbound I-83 around 3 p.m. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.

The suspects, who are brothers, are identified as Norwood Thomas Johnson Jr., 29, and Nyghee Nicholas Johnson, 21, both of the unit block of Paula Place in Rossville, 21237. They are charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder and are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.
