Baltimore County Police say a suspect is in custody after robbing the PNC Bank located inside Giant Food in the 6300 block of York Road on Sunday.
Police say they were called just after 1:00 PM and were able to identify a possible suspect. Police attempted to stop the man, whom they believed was armed, but he drove away in a black SUV.
As police pursued him, they said, the man’s SUV drove off the road and became disabled. He was arrested at about 2:30PM in the area of Reisterstown Road and McDonogh Road in the Owings Mills area. Both a gun and money were recovered during the arrest, police said.
There were no injuries reported. The man’s name has not been released.
