In addition to the burglaries that occurred in Rodgers Forge on Friday night, there were also several incidents on Saturday night.
Captain Landsman says: “With the activity this morning [Sunday/Saturday night] included, I currently have 6 confirmed burglaries and 12 attempts. In one case a car was stolen and in one of the attempts, there was a theft from vehicle. These cases have occurred on Hopkins Road, Dunkirk, Old Trail, Heathfield and Rodgers Court. I have people coming in throughout the night and the information regarding this activity continues to be shared with neighboring jurisdictions and precincts.”
A burglar or burglars were active in Rodgers Forge on Friday night. Details are still coming in.
“Officers are still canvassing the area, but it appears that suspects entered homes via unlocked windows or windows they could easily force open and stole items such as purses and electronic devices and fled,” Precinct 6 Captain Jay Landsman said in an email to the Flyer.
“I will provide more when I get the finished reports. My detectives are working the cases. Please encourage the community to call with any information (suspect descriptions, tag numbers, residential security footage, etc.),” he added.
The Towson precinct headquarters phone number is 410-887-2361.
Police were said to be on Dunkirk Road — apparently the location of several break-ins — this morning talking to residents.
