Assault and robberies on York Road south of downtown Towson

Towson University put out an alert today that says: The Baltimore County Police are investigatingtwo reports of [robberies] that occurred on Saturday, April 23, 2017 during the early morning hours on York Road south of our campus.

The first robbery occurred at about 1:45AM on York Road at Yarmouth Road, in Towson, MD.The victim was reportedly walking on York Road when a suspect exited a beige coloredvehicle and asked the victim for money, to which the victim refused. The suspect assaulted the victim andtook the victim’s belongings. The suspect re-entered the vehicle and fled the scene.


The second robberyoccurred at approximately 1:50 AM on York Road at Murdock Road, in Towson, MD.The victim was reportedly walking on York Road when three suspectsexited a white coloredvehicle and demanded the victim’s belongings. The suspects re-entered the vehicle and fled the scene.
