Here’s another change happening in downtown Towson. Councilman David Marks says:
“Tonight, the Baltimore County Design Review Panel approved a proposal to renovate the outside of the old Hutzler’s building in Towson. Retail Properties of America will give a new ‘skin’ to this aging structure. The improvements are long overdue, and part of a major redevelopment at the corner of Joppa and Dulaney Valley Roads. Here is what will be coming very soon!”
More details to come, but an employee at Barnes & Noble said earlier that when AvalonBay develops Towson Ciricle (what is now home to Trader Joe’s and the bookstore’s first floor), B&N would be stay in the building’s upper floor but might move to a new location within it. UPDATE: Barnes & Noble now says it will close its Towson location.
Please make the apartments 50 and over residents because the college students have taken over all the other apartments.
