Event with Woodberry’s Spike Gjerde and Towson’s Rona Kobell


This looks like it will be really fun and very interesting. You know Spike Gjerde from Woodberry Kitchen, and you likely know Rona Kobelll of Towson for her excellent work in the Chesapeake Bay Journal or the “On the Bay” shows she did on WTMD.

What: ORIGINS: A Speaker Series About Food, Its Source & How We Eat from Spike Gjerde and the Woodberry Kitchen family aims to elevate the conversation about food, its origins and what we are doing with food and food systems on this planet. The series, featuring conversations with growers & producers & friends of the Mid-Atlantic, is held within the intimate confines of Artifact Coffee. The first Origins of 2017, on Jan 19th, features Chesapeake Bay Journal reporter and oyster expert Rona Kobell in one-on-one conversation with Spike.
