Baltimore County Police say: A Loch Hill convenience store employee suffered life threatening injuries when he was stabbed Tuesday afternoon.
The investigation has indicated that just before 4 p.m., the 39-year-old male victim was working behind the counter at the Quick Mart in the 6500 block of Loch Hill Road 21239. The suspect went behind the counter and stabbed the victim repeatedly. The victim managed to escape the attack and run out the front door. The suspect fled the area.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating this incident. Detectives will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime. Robbery is not suspected at this time.
