New law is said to curb wild parties in Towson

The Baltimore Sun has done a story about “unruly gatherings” law that targets partiers (and their landlords) near Towson University.

The law only applies to the following areas: east of York Road, north and west of Stevenson Road/Lane, south and west of Hillen Road, north of Eudowood Lane, east of Railroad Avenue, south of Pennsylvania Avenue, east of Virginia Avenue, and south of Towsontown Boulevard.

Councilman David Marks said legislation that would have applied to the entire county did not have support. He added that he would consider adding Rodgers Forge, which has a number of TU students, if the community association requests it.
