State Sen. Jim Brochin and Del. Steve Lafferty attended a rally yesterday in support of zoning regulations that would guide future development in Towson to make it more friendly to pedestrians and the environment. Councilman David Marks, who was also at the rally, has legislation pending that would in many ways support those goals. The Green Towson Alliance supports the bill but wants it to be stronger, while the Kevin Kamenetz administration and some local business leaders want fewer zoning rules.
