Towson High’s Colophon magazine turns 50

Towson High School’s literary and arts magazine, Colophon, is turning 50 and The Baltimore Sun has a great story about its milestone publication.

“It’s a rare school lit magazine that endures for half a century, let alone establishes itself as a juggernaut in the field and maintains its quality year after year,” the Sun reports.

“A small group of faculty advisers and students at Towson High have published an edition of Colophon — with little direct financial support from the school — every year since Lyndon Johnson was president.”
