Here is a great feature on illustrator Kevin O’Malley of Towson that The Baltimore Sun published in honor of his 75th book.
“Kids like to be scared. They like to be grossed out,” O’Malley told Jonathan Pitts. “I’ve always thought children’s authors should respect that by showing that side of life.”
