LOTSA Stone Fired Pizza is set to open Wednesday, May 11, on York Road in Towson. It will be located across from the library in what used to be The Orient (which is apparently moving up the road next to The Melting Pot.)
“LOTSA Towson offers its signature five-topping build-your-own pizza, cooked in a state of the art revolving stone-fired oven that is ready in three minutes,” according to a news release. “The location also boasts a private dining area for both corporate outings and private events.”
A spokeswoman said they will eventually serve beer and wine, but not right away.
LOTSA has one other location, in West Virginia, but the Towson location will be its flagship.
The restaurant will be open Sundays through Wednesdays 11:00am – 12:00am and Thursdays through Saturdays11:00am – 3:00am. The restaurant says it will offer various promotions throughout its opening weekend from 11:00am – 10:00pm, including:
– Wednesday, May 11: BOGO cheese pizza
– Thursday, May 12: Free 20 oz. drink with order
– Friday, May 13: Two 11″ two-topping pizzas for $9.99
– Saturday, May 14: $2 off order
– Sunday, May 15: $3 off order
Went there once when we wanted pizza but didn’t want to go far or carry in. Just carry in from Fortunatos, or even Vito’s and be done with it. Worst sort of McDonald’s pizza . Worse than the pizza @ my student union . It was sent through the oven on a conveyor belt.
There are conveyor-belt pizzas that are good, like Toss.
This place seems empty whenever I drive past. Is it doing well?
I don’t think the Orient will ever reopen….HEARTbreak.
