Walk out there with an envelope, and let the guys split it? Also, would this lead to better service, because I’m not always happy with the trash collection.

I’ve either left it out or, if I’ve been home and able to spot them, run out and given it to them. What I find challenging about mail carriers is knowing whether it’s my regular carrier or someone covering holiday hours.
